If your bank account shows a pending charge from LYFT TMP AUTH, please note that this is a temporary authorization.

Your card won’t be charged for temporary authorizations, and your bank will release the amount (usually within 3-5 days) after your payment method has been verified. Use the app’s ‘Ride history’ tab to see the specific amounts fully charged to your preferred payment method.

If your bank processes a payment you don’t recognize but doesn’t release the funds after 3-5 days, log in to our Help Center and let us know so our support team can investigate any potential fraudulent activity.
